Ufton Court | Berkshire Wedding

This was my first time shooting at Ufton Court, and it did not disappoint! A gorgeous, rustic Tithe barn and Grade 1 listed manor House, surrounded by acres of lush greenery and well-manacured garden, it’s real gem of a venue. I’d met Heather and James a couple of times prior to their wedding day, once for their engagement shoot, and then again for a lovely family photoshoot in the summer. They’re a fun, easy-going couple, which I love!

I met Heather in the morning at the venue. She chose such a pretty pastel-pink bouquet of peonies and roses, which were arranged by Flowers by Helen Elizabeth. So much colour and texture, a dream to photograph (and also matched her fabulous feathery shoes). Her stunning, delicately laced gown was designed by House of Savin (from And She Loves Bridal) and it looked perfect against the rustic barn backdrop. Hair by Eloise and Anna Fullbrook Makeupartist were already there when I arrived, working their talent to create a beautiful set of waves and flawless make-up on the girls.

I couldn’t miss the stack of delicious donuts in the barn (Two Peonies in a pod) – the smell alone drew me in! The barn looked wonderful, with the pastel pink colour scheme extended across the floral displays inside.

Outside, as the guests gathered, Sugar and Sax provided a classy musical backdrop to the summery day. It really was fantastic, with everyone feeling like they were on holiday! Following the heartfelt ceremony, the couple’s little boy Vinnie joined them for their first kiss as a married couple (he didn’t want to be left out), and their daughter joined them for the confetti toss.

As the day went on, so did the party. We snuck away from the guests just as the sun dipped behind the trees for those all-important golden hour captures.
