Clock Barn | Hampshire Wedding

Natasha and Lewis went for the beautifully rustic charms of Clock Barn in Whitchurch for their wedding venue. They both got ready at the venue, so it was really nice to be able to see both of them before they tied the knot. The couple actually own their own event decoration company, so when I arrived with my second shooter (Dayle) and videographer (Laura) we were able to see a bit of the behind the scenes of Lewis & his groomsmen setting up the barn! And what a fantastic job they did – it looked stunning, with magical fairly lights and flowers hanging from the wooden beams and chandeliers, and elegant drapes over the ceremony table. The florist Forest View Floristry did a spectacular job on the florals and bouquets, with a display of soft pink roses.

Tasha chose a beautiful dusty green colour for her bridesmaids to wear, which were from Azazie, and her breathtaking lace bridal gown was from Chameleon. The girls had their hair and make-up applied by Karen Clarke, and she did a lovely job with loose boho waves all round! There was an emotional moment when Tasha’s Dad came outside to see his daughter in her wedding gown for the first time. Meanwhile, Dayle was busy capturing the groom prep (I heard no one knew how to tie a tie, so thanks for stepping in Dayle!) The chaps looked dapper in their royal blue suits from Moss Bros.

I could have spent all day photographing the cake, which was a beautiful orange ombre design with delicately placed flowers, by the talented Ruby Mutimer (who also happened to be one of their guests!) The ceremony was touching and emotional, with lots of tears and laughter (well done to the celebrant for getting all of Tash’s many names correct!) The couple were greeted by their guests with a shower of confetti. We whisked them off up the road to the top of the hill (highly recommend this spot for photos) where the view is amazing, especially in spring with the rapeseed fields as a backdrop. When they got back, the couple asked us about a ‘photo dash’…I hadn’t done one before but it was a lot of fun and got all the guests involved!

In the evening, the glow sticks and dancing came out and the sun went down, just in time for final sunset shots with Tash & Lewis.
