The Barn at Bury Court | Farnham Wedding
I’d met Kally, Bex and their two adorable rescue dogs, Pickles and Koda, the previous summer for a sunset engagement shoot. It was a lot of fun getting to know them, and the shoot was gorgeous.
On the morning of their wedding, I met up with Kally, and my second shooter Chantel went with Bex. Having two brides was so fun, but also quite confusing with all the extra bridesmaids rushing around! Bury Court Barn is a gorgeous venue, surrounded by lovely gardens and fields. The girls went for an outdoor ceremony, and were lucky enough to get a warm sunny day too!
Kally & Bex both looked stunning, with expert hair and make-up from Beauty HQ, Adam Paul Hair, and Your Bridal Bestie UK. Kally went for an elegant up-do, while Bex had her hair in long pretty ringlets. They both wore wedding gowns, (Bleu bridal) but they were very different! Kally’s was a smooth satin with a v-neck back, and Bex chose a dress with lacey details, again in a sleeveless design.
For their ceremony, Kally came down the aisle first, accompanied by her Dad, and then Bex walked down afterwards. There was so much laughter and emotion, it was a really beautiful, heartfelt ceremony.
The room inside the barn looked fantastic: they had some pretty cupcakes surrounding a larger wedding cake (Belclare Bakes), with a slightly boho theme for the décor. The flowers looked so eye catching – the girls had matching bouquets with orange and white roses (Claire Marie Jones Flowers). The speeches were again, full of emotion, with a particularly special one from the couple’s foster daughter.
We finished the day with some wonderful sunset portraits, followed by a sparkler exit! This was actually my first same-sex wedding, and I had a blast!
