Maria + Rob

Maria and Rob tied the knot at the gorgeous Southend Barns in Chichester on a warm, summery day, surrounded by rolling fields, their loved ones… and a few alpacas!

The day began with Maria and her bridesmaids getting ready on-site. The bridesmaids wore stunning olive green satin dresses, while Maria looked timeless in a vintage-inspired, long-sleeved lace gown. Her hair was swept into a soft up-do, completing her effortlessly elegant look. Rob arrived with his groomsmen, looking dapper in his 3 piece blue suit and olive green tie to match the colour scheme.

The ceremony took place outside under clear blue skies, with sunshine pouring over the scene as the couple exchanged vows. Guests enjoyed delicious canapés post-ceremony, soaking in the rustic barn decor and relaxed atmosphere.

We slipped away into the nearby fields for some romantic couple portraits among the daisies; it was peaceful, joyful, and filled with golden light.

The day wasn’t without its drama, though. Just after the ceremony, Maria’s sister fainted in the heat and gave everyone quite the scare, especially as she knocked her teeth out when she fell! She was rushed to hospital but, in true heroic sister fashion, made it back just in time for an emotional reunion with Maria later that evening. (She was mostly upset about missing the food!)

As the evening unfolded, Maria and Rob cut their cake and shared their first dance while Maria’s dad played guitar, which was a beautiful, personal touch that had everyone tearing up. We snuck away one last time during golden hour, capturing dreamy portraits in the fields, bathed in warm light. And yes, even the alpacas made an appearance!

A day full of love, laughter, and a few unexpected turns – Maria and Rob’s wedding was one to remember
