Clock Barn | Hampshire wedding
Katie + Luke
My 2025 wedding season kicked off with Katie and Luke’s barn wedding. I met Katie and Luke at a wedding fair, and was very flattered when Katie turned to Luke and said “now this is the style of photography I want!!” I then discovered that she was also a photographer herself (teaching the subject at GCSE and just starting out with weddings), so it was really nice to have a nerdy camera chat with her!
They chose Clock Barn for their ceremony and the reception too. I love Clockbarn, it’s beautiful venue inside and out, especially in the spring time when all the blossoms are out. In the morning, I joined Katie and her bridesmaids who were getting ready at the venue (my trusty second shooter Dayle met up with Luke and the guys). Katie went with pastel blues and sage greens for her bridesmaids, perfectly complementing the pastels hues in her stunning spring bouquet by LillyBee. I especially liked the bridesmaids’ bouquets, which were all displayed in little baskets – very unique!
Katie wore her hair in a beautiful loose boho wave (hair and makeup expertly provided by Proud of my Locks and Make Up By Beth M).
Her bridal gown from Avenue 51 Bridal was breathtaking – covered in delicate lace all the way down, it even looked fantastic just hanging up on the wall! It worked so well, and looked so elegant for the editorial-style portraits that I know Katie loves. Luke also looked very dapper, dressed in a white tuxedo with a black bow tie, from Moss Bros.
We had gorgeous spring sunshine all day, giving us plenty of opportunity to capture some day time portraits under the blossom trees, as well as some romantic evening ones on the hill at sunset.
