Lotty + George

Lotty and George chose the stunning Ufton Court in Reading to celebrate their wedding day, and what a day it was! The sun shone brightly for their August wedding, making it perfect for an outdoor ceremony beside the barn.

Lotty spent the morning getting ready with her bridesmaids, and she looked absolutely breathtaking. She wore a princess-style gown with dreamy, floaty sleeves (Yes! I LOVE a dress with sleeves!) and a floor-length veil. Her gorgeous auburn hair was styled in a soft half-up, half-down do, and it suited her beautifully.

The bridesmaids were completely on trend in sage green strapless gowns – such a timeless and elegant choice. As guests began to arrive, a violinist and pianist set the tone with live music, creating such a special atmosphere.

Following the heartfelt ceremony, the couple shared their first kiss under a shower of confetti – a magical moment! We then whisked them away for some romantic portraits. The grounds at Ufton Court are truly breathtaking, and as a photographer, I felt completely spoilt for choice!

Later in the day, Lotty and George made their grand entrance into the wedding breakfast, with Lotty adding a little twirl. Just before the speeches, the couple asked that everyone open their letters. I thought it was such a nice little touch – they had written something personal to each and every guest at the wedding! Such a thoughtful gesture that brought plenty of tears and laughter.

As the sun began to set, and the pizza van arrived to feed the evening guests, we made the most of golden hour with some dreamy sunset portraits to end the day.
